Want to give the impression that you’re a little taller than you are?
You don’t have to wear heels or platforms to make others think you’re taller than you think.
There is a clever trick that costs nothing and works immediately.
It’s impossible to grow taller than you are, we all know that – once we stop growing we have to live with the height we’ve been given. But if you want to appear as if you’ve traveled a little further than you are, there are many tricks you can use.
Of course, wearing heels or shoes with a small platform is an easy way to get taller, but you’re not always in the mood to wear heels. Then it might be good to know this clever trick that will make you look taller than you are.
Just as the choice of make-up and hairstyle can affect the appearance of the face with relatively little means, we can use clothes to emphasize what we want, as long as we know how to style the clothes.
If you want to avoid buying new clothes or shoes while also wanting to add some length to your look quickly, the easiest trick you can use is to simply roll up both shirt sleeves and pant legs.
If your shirt sleeves are too long, you automatically appear smaller – it looks like you are wearing clothes that are too big. But by rolling up your shirt sleeves nicely and showing a small wrist or entire forearms, you get the illusion that you’re taller than you are.
The same goes for the trouser legs! If you show a small ankle between the shoe and the pant leg, you give the impression of longer legs and that you are taller than you are.
Either try rolling up your pant legs or shirt sleeves, or buy jeans that hit the ankle rather than the bottom of the heel, for example, and you’ll find that you look a little longer than before, no matter how many inches off the ground you actually are stretch.
