For the following tips we wanted to focus especially on men who want to give lingerie as gifts, so we could consider this as a gentlemen’s guide.
One last thing before we start: remember that when giving gifts, the focus is on pleasing the person receiving the gift, not on satisfying ourselves.
Tip # 1: if we start from the base that giving lingerie requires that you know the other person well, there has to be some way you can find out what sizes she wears. Put more clearly and specifically: you should be able to access the place where they keep their clothes and be able to check their sizes. This for some people is an invasion of privacy, so extra advice-guideline: it is not about dismantling and checking the entire wardrobe, but about consulting some clothes (the ones you see that you use the most is a good indicative) and in the most discreet way possible. Keep in mind that when you receive the gift you will be asked/asked how you did to find out its size. No one reads minds, and confessing that you’ve gone through all of their underwear can be a moment of embarrassment for the other person that will overshadow the specialness of that moment.
