Avocado toast is the two-ingredient breakfast (and lunch) that’s taken over the world. Avocados are a versatile fruit to slice, mash, or fill. The creamy and buttery texture makes any meal better. There’s plenty of health benefits to match their luxurious taste, notably their healthy mono and polyunsaturated fat content and antioxidants like beta carotene. Avocado toast these days, well, it’s gone mainstream. But that doesn’t mean we should take it for granted.
