Facial treatment: 6 beauty tips to wake up tired little eyes

Gita Bass , professional makeup artist, recently revealed to Vogue US, 6 tips to wake up tired eyes . She then gives advice on how to properly camouflage her dark circles and some tips may well open our eyes. But unfortunately, you may have to get up earlier to apply all this ritual…

1. Use the eye patches

Applying firming and moisturizing eye patches 15 minutes before makeup can be a big help in giving the illusion of a few extra hours of sleep.
But if you really don’t have the time, use a supercharged eye serum. This will help deflate and reduce the appearance of dark circles.

2. Try the eye drops

Eye drops are “sleep in a bottle”. These products soothe, lubricate and reduce redness in the eyes and promise a whiter, brighter look.If the result is not intense enough, run a flesh-colored eyeliner on your mucous membrane to hide the last redness.

3. Hide dark areas under the eyes

While a concealer could hide the misery, Bass suggest keeping makeup “super light” by using a highlighter pencil or concealer in yellow or orange tones to counteract the blue undertones of the skin.
But for people with very dark circles, Bass makes an exception and applies a light coat of peach concealer. “It’s often the best way to dress them up, but sometimes a peach-colored lipstick is all you need under foundation,” she explains.

4. Use a creamy concealer

“I generally prefer a light, creamy concealer that dries to a light powdery finish, like a cream or clear liquid,” Bass says.A creamy concealer will be able to blend better and slip into fine lines. With a concealer that is too thick or too dry, the lines will be highlighted and this is not what we want.

5. Unify matter

Apply the material under your eyes using your yearbook to “heat the product”, then pat lightly under your eyes. To finish, “blend all the lines and give a homogeneous finish”.
Use a beauty blender to do this.

6. Finish it off with a highlighter

First of all we check that no fine lines are accentuated. You can use a wet beauty blender if this is not the case. Then add a layer of illuminating powder. “It sets the concealer and keeps it from moving or settling in lines, and reflects light, which helps brighten the entire eye.” she explains.
