Fall marks the transition from summer to winter, and with that comes a variety of natural beauty and change: days are shorter but crisper; full moons light up the night sky; animals stock up on food before the winter; leaves change from green to brilliant yellows, reds and oranges; and pine cones grow heavy enough to fall from their parent trees and disperse their seeds.
